Spaghetti dinner benefit planned Saturday at Marconi Club
A spaghetti dinner to benefit Kiski Area High School sophomore Anna Shaffer will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Marconi Club, 135 River Ave. Leechburg.
Shaffer, 16, is recovering from influenza A and double pneumonia. She is waiting for a double lung transplant and is a patient in the pediatric intensive care unit at UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Cost is $10; 10 and younger, $8; dine in or takeout. There will be a silent auction. Proceeds will be donated to her family. For tickets and information, call Christina Gross at 724-448-2968.
Tickets on sale for benefit concert in Harmar
Blue Force Foundation will sponsor a concert to benefit the family of fallen Brackenridge Police Chief Justin McIntire April 1 at Futules Harmar House, 1321 Freeport Road, Harmar.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and there will be a cocktail hour until 8 p.m. when dinner will be served. Music will be by Ricky Manning and the Donnie Irish Band. There will be a cash bar, raffles and a 50/50. Admission is $45; children, $20 and includes dinner.
