Super bingo to aid New Kensington-Arnold PTA

New Kensington Eagles Auxiliary will host a super bingo to benefit the New Kensington Arnold School District PTA at 2 p.m. March 22 at Harry’s, 1735 Fourth Ave.

Doors open at 12:30 p.m. Cost: $30, includes buffet. There will be a cash bar, basket raffle, 50/50 raffle, small games of chance and a bake sale.

Alle-Kiski Area HOPE Center seeks volunteers

The Alle-Kiski Area HOPE Center has many opportunities for volunteers to help the organization in its quest to eliminate domestic violence.

Volunteers are needed to work with children, drive to Pittsburgh to courier food to Tarentum, organize events, present programs in schools and assist with office projects.

Vandergrift

Monday: A Chess Club for children in kindergarten through eighth grade will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Mondays through March 23 at Vandergrift Public Library, 128C Washington Ave. No experience necessary. A local chess master and volunteers will work with children and teach basic moves and strategy.
