Bowling fundraiser to aid Freeport children’s charity
A bowling fundraiser to benefit Reagan’s Journey will be from 1 to 4 p.m. March 16 at Wildlife Lanes, 1000 Wildlife Lodge Road, Lower Burrell.
Doors open at 12:30 p.m. Cost for $150 for a team of up to six bowlers and single bowlers can participate for $25. Tickets include three hours of bowling and shoe rental. Guests are encouraged to wear St. Patrick’s Day-themed attire. There will be a basket auction, bake sale and 50-50. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from the lanes. Animal Protectors plans annual bowling fundraiser
The Pins for Pets bowling party to benefit Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley will be from 3 to 5 p.m. March 16 at Nesbit Bowling Lanes, 3501 Leechburg Road, Plum.
Doors open at 2:30 p.m. Admission is $25 for bowlers and $15 for spectators. There will be a basket raffle, Animal Protectors merchandise, pizza, pop and cupcakes. Sponsorship opportunities are available.

Members of Lower Burrell Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary can pick up their door key card from membership chair Debbie Stewart from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesdays during bingo in the post banquet hall.
