Online resume and interview workshops scheduled

Pennsylvania CareerLink Alle-Kiski will offer workshops on Zoom.us for those needing help with resumes and interviewing.

A workshop about resumes will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and an interviewing workshop will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., both March 17. Sue Diehl will be the instructor.

Riverview Cemetery plans spring cleanup

Riverview Cemetery Association in Apollo will begin its spring cleanup on March 15.

Please remove anything you wish to keep prior to this date.


Salvation Army free lunch distribution set Thursday

The Allegheny Valley Salvation Army and Community Center in Brackenridge offers free grab and go lunches from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays in parking lot at the center, 917 Brackenridge Ave.

Through April 3: Community Library of Allegheny Valley will sponsor a coloring contest for children in observation of National Library Week.
