Lower Burrell event to benefit Speed Family Blessing Box
A craft and vendor show to benefit Speed Family Blessing Box and Pantry will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Fidget Tree, 2791 Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell.
There will be kids games, crafts, food, art and vendors. Non-perishable food, household products, baby food, pet food and personal items will be collected for Speed Family Blessing Box.
Harrison touch-a-truck event planned Saturday
Harrison Township Recreation Board will sponsor its fourth annual touch-a-truck event from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at Highlands High School, Natrona Heights.
There will be train rides, emergency vehicles, construction vehicles, food and Popcorn the Clown.
Living history event set at Armstrong county museum
Armstrong County Historical Museum and Genealogical Society will host a free living history event from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at the museum, 300 N. McKean St., Kittanning.
French and Indian War reenactors Proctor’s Militia and the 62nd Pa. Volunteer Infantry Living History Family will have displays, talks and demonstrations.
Free parking is available on Vine and McKean streets and behind the museum via the North Grant Avenue entrance.

Friday: Natrona Heights Veterans of Foreign Wars will have bingo at 7 p.m. at the post, 894 Veterans Lane. Doors open at 6 p.m., and there will be specials, a 50/50 raffle and final game jackpot.
Saturday: The Diaper Pantry at Christ Our Hope Anglican Church, Harrison, will distribute diapers from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church, 926 Painter Ave., and at Sheldon Park, both in Natrona Heights. Recipients must drive up and remain in their vehicles. First-time recipients must provide their own identification, the child’s birth certificate and a current WIC or SNAP card.
Jefferson
Today: Bingo will be at 6:30 p.m. at the American Legion, 754 N. Pike Road. Doors open at 5 p.m. Under new management with higher payouts. The kitchen will be open. Proceeds benefit post and auxiliary projects.

Saturday: Kiski Township Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor a Mother’s Day Super Bingo at 1 p.m. at the firehall, 1037 Route 56. Doors open at noon.
