Resume workshop for veterans and military planned
South Butler Community Library will offer a resume workshop that focuses on the needs of veterans and members of the military at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the library, 240 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Leechburg choir concert planned Thursday
The Leechburg Area High School spring choral concert, featuring the high school and middle school choirs and Blue Notes, will be at 7 p.m. Thursday in the high school auditorium.

Salvation Army free lunch distribution offered Thursday
The Allegheny Valley Salvation Army and Community Center in Brackenridge offers free grab and go lunches from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays in parking lot at the center, 917 Brackenridge Ave.
Free grocery items from Walmart and Aldi will be available. Everyone is welcome.
Motorcycle poker run to support homeless vets
Ride for Homeless Vets Motorcycle Poker Run will be June 12 at Natrona Heights Veterans of Foreign Wars, 894 Veterans Lane.
The run will begin and finish at the Veterans of Foreign Wars and visit local Ford City and Rimersburg Veterans of Foreign Wars posts and the Sarver Vets Club. Cost is $20 per rider and $15 per passenger. Race-day check-in will be from 9 to 11 a.m. The first 200 people registered will receive an event T-shirt and should specify size.
