Safety town camp planned for children
Mary, Queen of Apostles School, New Kensington, will sponsor a safety town camp July 29 to Aug. 2 for children age 4 and 5 at the Greenwald site, 110 Elmtree Road.
Parents can choose sessions from 9 to 11 a.m., 1 to 3 p.m. or 5 to 7 p.m. each day. Topics will include fire safety, stranger danger, poisonous items, pedestrian safety and more. Cost is $100 per child.

Scholarships available to local students
Allegheny-Kiski Health Foundation has several scholarship programs available for area students.

Local food bank seeking donations
The Allegheny Valley Association of Churches Food Bank currently needs donations of non-perishable food and household items.
Products most needed include toilet paper, paper towels, feminine products, diapers in sizes 4, 5, 6 and 7; canned vegetables, fruit, beef stew, ravioli, tuna, chicken and soups; boxed side dishes, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, boxed cereal and sugar-free and gluten-free items.
