Allegheny Valley Association of Churches has free support services available for anyone who is having trouble making ends meet, is unemployed or needs help with budgeting and talking to bill collectors.

TryLife Center accepting donations
The TryLife Center in Lower Burrell is accepting donations of gently used baby items, children’s clothing in sizes newborn through 4T, maternity clothes, baby and toddler toys and children’s books.
Used cribs and car seats will not be accepted. Items will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, and noon to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays the red donation door. Ring the door for assistance.
Items left outside the hours listed above will not be protected from the weather and may have to be disposed of. For details, call 724-339-9399.

June 11: St. Joseph High School is conducting a $20,000 Super Raffle. Cost: $100 per ticket. Prizes include a $20,000 grand prize, three $1,000 runner-up prizes. Winner need not be present.
