Free dairy product distribution set for Saturday
Free dairy products will be distributed at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sheldon Park on Park Avenue, Natrona Heights, Harrison.
Recipients should drive up, remain in their vehicle and boxes will be loaded into your trunk. No registration is required, and service will be first come, first served.
The event is sponsored by Harvest Community Church, Harrison, in conjunction with Marburger Dairy, the USDA Food and Drug Administration, local dairy producers and Southern Baptist Disaster Relief. For details, visit harvestpa.org or call the church at 724-548-5643.
Redemption Church to serve free sandwiches Friday
Redemption Church of Lower Burrell will serve free sandwiches from 5 p.m. Friday until the food runs out at a drive-through in the U-Haul parking lot on Leechburg Road, Lower Burrell.
The meatball hoagies will be from Costa’s Italian Market in New Kensington. No registration is required. Look for the red tent in the parking lot.
Free shredding event planned in Lower Burrell
A free paper shredding event will be hosted by Rep. Bob Brooks from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the Lower Burrell Veterans of Foreign Wars, 1601 Wildlife Lodge Road.
Residents are welcome to bring documents that contain personal information, such as Social Security numbers, medical data, tax returns or bank account numbers, to be shredded.
Materials must be in brown paper bags or cardboard boxes with open tops and be in the trunk of each vehicle. Do not tape or fold the box lids closed. Residents will not be allowed to exit their vehicles. After each box is emptied the worker will return it to the trunk.

Saved By Grace to serve free dinners
A free drive-through spaghetti dinner will be served from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Saved By Grace Church, 739 Prospect St., Brackenridge.
The menu will include spaghetti, salad and Italian bread. Advance orders are encouraged by calling 724-230-6739 by 2 p.m. Saturday. Only 50 orders per half hour time slot will be accepted to control traffic in front of the building. Delivery is available to Brackenridge addresses.
Saved By Grace would like to thank everyone who has donated money and products to enable the church to continue to provide the meals.
