Free art show set at Tarentum’s Manos Gallery
The Manos Gallery in Tarentum will host “Diversity Exhibition,” a juried art show featuring the works of members of the Pittsburgh Society of Artists, June 1 through 29 at the theater, 320 E. Fifth Ave.
An opening reception will be from 3 to 6 p.m. June 8 and a reception to close the event will be from 3 to 6 p.m. June 29, both at the gallery. Hours during the exhibition will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays. All events are free and the public is welcome.
Touch-a-truck planned Saturday in Fawn
Autism support group Powered By Love will host its third annual touch-a-truck from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Tour Ed Mine, 748 Bullcreek Road, Fawn.
There will be food trucks, music, a foam party, bounce house, car cruise, horseback riding, and trucks and large vehicles to explore. Donations will be accepted and there will be a 50-50 raffle.

Benefit ride and car cruise to benefit Mogie’s Mission
The Ride for Mogie’s Mission will be June 22 beginning in Lower Burrell.
Cost is $10 per vehicle. Registration will be from 10 to 11:45 a.m. and the ride will leave at noon from the parking lot at Wildlife Lanes, 1000 Wildlife Lodge Road, rain or shine. Route information will be sent out in advance and there will be a police escort.
A car show will be afterward at Wildlife Lanes and there will be music and a fireworks display. All cars must leave the parking lot by 6 p.m. No alcohol is permitted.

June 7: The Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania will sponsor a free community walk Freeport Community Park. The event will begin at 9 a.m. and will last one hour, rain or shine. Meet in the parking lot of Laube Hall. A naturalist will lead the group and will discuss birds, beneficial insects, native plants and wildlife. Binoculars will be available. Reservations required.
