Armstrong Museum to feature antique engine demonstrations

Armstrong County Historical Museum and Genealogical Society will present its third annual, “Engines at the Museum” event from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the museum, 300 N. McKean St., Kittanning.

There will be free demonstrations of antique engines and exhibits. Free parking is available on Vine and North McKean streets and behind the museum via the North Grant Avenue entrance.

Salvation Army free lunch distribution offered Thursday

The Allegheny Valley Salvation Army and Community Center in Brackenridge offers free grab-and-go lunches from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays in the parking lot at the center, 917 Brackenridge Ave.

Free grocery items from Walmart and Aldi will be available. Everyone is welcome.

Wednesday: Allegheny Family Network offers a virtual lunch and learn program with parents from noon to 1:30 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month.
