National Day of Prayer services planned
Two National Day of Prayer services are planned Thursday locally.
• Springdale Open Bible Church, 401 Colfax St., will have a service at 7 p.m. in the church. For details, call 724-274-6610.
• Center United Presbyterian Church, 1575 Donnellville Road, Fawn, will host a service at 7 p.m. Thursday at the church and online on Facebook. Fire company to start annual fund drive
Sarver Volunteer Fire Company is conducting its annual fund drive for 2021. Letters were mailed to all residents, businesses and property owners within their service area.

Help needed with Vandergrift public gardens
The Vandergrift Garden Club is seeking help taking care of the public garden areas in the borough.

Salvation Army free lunch distribution planned Thursday
The Allegheny Valley Salvation Army and Community Center in Brackenridge offers free grab and go lunches from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays in parking lot at the center, 917 Brackenridge Ave.
