Motorcycle poker run to support homeless vets
The Ride for Homeless Vets Motorcycle Poker Run will be June 11 at Natrona Heights Veterans of Foreign Wars, 894 Veterans Lane.
The run will begin and finish at the post. Advance registration by June 1 is $20 per rider and $15 per passenger. Cost the day of the race will be will $25 per rider and $20 per passenger.
Race-day check-in will be from 9 to 11 a.m. There will be cash prizes, a bike trophy, lunch, dinner and entertainment.

Ladies tea to benefit TryLife Center
A ladies tea fundraiser to benefit TryLife Center will be at 11:30 a.m. May 13 at Harvest Baptist Church, 224 Harvest Lane, Harrison.
Doors open at 10:30 a.m. Attire is dressy and hats and fascinators are welcome. Cost is $30 and includes tea, beverages, scones, tea sandwiches, dessert and one door prize drawing entry. There will be a basket raffle and the event is for adults only.

Volunteers needed for music festival in Hyde Park
Volunteers are needed to help out at the Leechburg Pink Day Notes for Hope music festival planned July 15 in Hyde Park.
People are needed to work at the gate and sell shirts and tickets for the 50/50 raffle. One-hour shifts will begin at noon and volunteers get free admission to the concert.
