Spaghetti dinner to benefit cancer patient

A spaghetti dinner to benefit breast cancer patient Cristy Keibler Suppa of Upper Burrell will be from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at Kinloch Firehall, 915 New York Ave., Lower Burrell.

Cost is $10 and includes spaghetti, meatballs, side salad and dinner roll, dine in or takeout. There will be a cash bar, silent auction and bake sale.

Stocking stuffer items needed for veterans

Vandergrift Veterans of Foreign Wars is collecting items to be placed in Christmas stockings for the veterans at the Mechling-Shakley Veterans Center, Sugarcreek Township, Armstrong County.

Items needed include foot powder, socks, beef sticks, non-alcoholic mouth wash, body wash, caps, travel games, tooth care products, shampoo, gloves and playing cards.

Donations can be taken between noon and 10 p.m. to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, 141 Sumner Ave.

Cash bash to benefit Animal Protectors

Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley will sponsor a Cash Bash Saturday at the Comfort Inn & Suites, RIDC Park, O’Hara.

Doors open at 4 p.m. Tickets are $30 in advance; $35 at the door, and include dinner, desserts, beer and a chance to win over $5,000 in cash prizes. There will also be a basket raffle and games of chance. Winners need not be present.

Toys for Tots event set for Saturday at Pittsburgh Mills Walmart

Frazer Police Department and the Marine Corps Reserve will host a toy collection for Toys For Tots beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday at Walmart, 2010 Village Center Drive, Frazer.

New toys for children from newborn through 17 years old will be accepted by the pharmacy doors.

Donations can also be dropped off at the police department, 592 Pittsburgh Mills Circle.
