Plum HS drama department to perform ‘One Stoplight Town’

The drama department of Plum Senior High School will present the play “One Stoplight Town” at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday in the high school auditorium, 900 Elicker Road.

Seating is general admission. Tickets are $5 and will be sold from 6 p.m. until showtime each night at the box office.

Float entries wanted for Lower Burrell Christmas parade

The City of Lower Burrell is seeking groups and organizations to sponsor a float in the Christmas parade planned at 7 p.m. Dec. 9.

The parade will begin at Hillcrest Shopping Center and end at Stewart School. Prizes will be awarded to the most festive, creative and entertaining entries. Entry deadline is Nov. 17. Drive-through food distribution set Tuesday at Pittsburgh Mills

Allegheny Valley Association of Churches and the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank will host a drive-thru food distribution for anyone in need from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday in parking lot of the former JC Penney store at the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills, Frazer.

Reservations are not required. Guests should remain in their vehicles and open their door or trunk and will be served on a first come, first served basis.

Tuesday: Concordia at Cabot sponsors a free monthly caregiver support group at 2 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month in the Lund Care Center private dining room, 134 Marwood Road. Use Entrance 4. Kiski Township

Tuesday: The diaper pantry at Spring Church Lutheran Church, 3623 Lutheran Church Road, will distribute diapers from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church. Distributions will be the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. Recipients must register in advance. First-time recipients must provide their own ID, the child’s birth certificate and a current WIC or SNAP card. Registration: 724-478-1528.

Leechburg  

Nov. 18: A turkey bingo will be hosted by Leechburg Volunteer Fire Company at 6 p.m. at the firehall. Doors open at 4 p.m. and early bird games will begin at 5:30.
