Deer Lakes Middle School to present, 'The Lion King Jr.'
Deer Lakes Middle School will present the musical, “The Lion King Jr.,” at 7 p.m. Friday, 1 and 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday in the high school auditorium, 163 East Union Road, West Deer.
Admission is $10 at the door.
Vandergrift Public Library to offer letters from Santa
Vandergrift Public Library will send your child a personalized letter from Santa Claus for a $5 donation to the library.
Letters will be mailed out the second week of December. Stop in at the library, 128C Washington Ave., to see templates and place your order.
Free lunch planned Wednesday in New Kensington
Allegheny Valley Church of God, 216 Catalpa St., New Kensington, will host a free open door luncheon at noon Wednesday.

'Aladdin Jr.' to be performed by Mary Queen of Apostles School
The drama department at Mary Queen of Apostles School, New Kensington, will present, “Aladdin Jr.,” at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at Penn State New Kensington, Upper Burrell.

Doors open at 6 p.m. The presentation will include a basic scientific explanation of climate change, impacts felt around the world, solutions being implemented and how you can be part of the solution.
Leechburg
Wednesday: The genealogy group at Leechburg Area Museum and Historical Society will meet from 10 a.m. to noon at the museum, 118 First St. All experience levels welcome.
