Casino Theatre to offer annual Christmas show

The Casino Theatre, Vandergrift, will present the 25th annual Hometown Christmas production, “Going Home,” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Nov. 27.

Tickets are $15 and are available at Pomfret’s Paint and Variety, 149 Farragut Ave., Vandergrift, at casinotheatre.org and at the door.


Food distribution scheduled at Lernerville Speedway

Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank will host a drive-through food distribution for anyone in need from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lernerville Speedway, 313 N. Pike Road, Buffalo Township.

No reservations are required. Guests should remain in their vehicles and open their door or trunk and will be served on a first come, first served basis.

Wednesday: The Thrift Store Clothing Ministry at Freeport United Methodist Church, 211 Fourth St., will be open from noon to 3 p.m. All items are free, but donations will be accepted. Items available include clothing of all sizes, bedding and window items. Donations of fall and winter clothing, shoes and boots welcome. Donations must be laundered and free from pet hair. Oakmont

Tuesdays: Taking Pounds Off Sensibly (TOPS) meets at 6 p.m. at Oakmont United Methodist Church, 419 Maryland Ave. Monthly dues: $5; first meeting is free. Details: vrevilla@pointpark.edu.
