Stuff the Cruiser event set in Saxonburg
Saxonburg Police Department will host a Stuff the Cruiser event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at South Butler County Library, 240 W. Main St., and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Saxonburg Coffee and Tea, 211 W. Main St., in the borough.
Bring a new unwrapped toy, book or winter clothing for boys or girls. Gifts will be donated to the Lighthouse Foundation of Butler County.
Casino Theatre to offer annual Christmas showThe Casino Theatre, Vandergrift, will present the 24th annual Hometown Christmas production, “Counting Down to Christmas,” at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 6 and 7 and 2 p.m. Dec. 8.
Tickets are $17and $10 and are available at Pomfret’s Paint and Variety, 149 Farragut Ave., Vandergrift, at casinotheatre.org and at the door.
New Kensington Christmas parade seeking entrantsParticipants are needed for the New Kensington Christmas parade scheduled for 11 a.m. Dec. 7 in downtown New Kensington.
Fire departments, marching groups, non-profits and organizations are welcome.
A touch-a-truck event will be after the parade. Any business that uses trucks, back hoes or lifts is welcome to take part. Donations of cases of water for emergency responders or a stuffed animal or doll is the cost to participate.
