Charity basketball game to feature Burrell, Valley alumni

A co-ed basketball game featuring alumni of Burrell and Valley high schools will be at 7 p.m. Friday in the Valley High School gymnasium, New Kensington.

Admission will be $5; and $3 for students. Proceeds will benefit the Brian Shaw Memorial Scholarship Fund.


Entries wanted for gingerbread house contest

NextHome Dynamic in Freeport is sponsoring a gingerbread house contest.

Entries should be dropped off no later than 4 p.m. Friday at the office, 235 Fifth St. Call the office at 724-295-5500 before dropping off. Judging will be Dec. 4 during the Small Town Christmas event.
