Free Thanksgiving dinner planned in Freeport
St. Mary Mother of God Parish and Zion United Methodist Church will host a free Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thanksgiving Day in Friendship Hall at St. Mary Church, 610 High St., Freeport.

Comedy night dinner to benefit Markle Fire Department
A dinner and comedy show to benefit Markle Fire Department will be Saturday at the firehall, 470 Joyce St., Allegheny Township.
Doors open at 6 and the show will begin at 8 p.m. Performers include Karl Prohaska, Wolfie and Michael Whatule. BYOB. Must be 21 to attend.
