Annual Christmas for Vets event planned Dec. 5
Five Forces will host its seventh annual Christmas for Veterans event Dec. 10 at the School House Hall, 171 Thorn St., Oklahoma Borough.
Doors open at 5 p.m. Dinner will be served and there will be entertainment, drinks, raffles, merchandise and prizes. All veterans and current members of the military are welcome. Attendees must show DD214 paperwork, current military ID or proper discharge paperwork. Tickets are free for veterans and current military. Guest tickets are $25 each, plus drinks.

Senior Citizen Scratch-off bingo scheduled in Tarentum
Tarentum Recreation Board will sponsor a senior citizen scratch-off bingo at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Tarentum Marina parking lot, under Tarentum Bridge.
