Chicken Marsala and wine on the menu at Peoples Library fundraiser

Peoples Library will sponsor a drive-thru Adventure with Wine takeout meal with wine from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 26 with pick-up in the parking lot behind the New Kensington location, 880 Barnes St.

The menu will be by Hoffstot’s Café Monaco of Oakmont and will include a mixed greens salad with cider poppyseed vinaigrette, chicken Marsala, rosemary and shallot mashed potatoes, baby green beans, a pumpkin gob and wine.

Free monthly soup luncheon planned Wednesday

Poke Run Presbyterian Church, Washington Township, will host its free monthly Soup for the Soul luncheon at noon Wednesday at the church, 1091 Poke Run Church Road.
