Fundraising gala to benefit Apollo Memorial Library
Apollo Memorial Library will sponsor a fundraising gala, “Bond with Our Library,” Nov. 8 at the Links and Spring Church, 3257 Balsiger Road, Kiski Township.
Cocktails and charcuterie will be served at 4:30 p.m. and a prime rib or chicken dinner will be at 6 p.m. There will be a silent auction, Pittsburgh cookie table and casino games.

Holiday toy help available for local families
Allegheny Valley Salvation Army in Brackenridge is accepting registrations for its children’s Christmas toy distribution.
Children must be 13 or younger and live in the following zip codes, 15006, 15014, 15030, 15032, 15049, 15065, 15075, 15076, 15084 and 15238.
