Orders being accepted for Highlands AFS citrus fruit sale
Orders are being taken for the annual Highlands High School AFS citrus fruit sale.
Fruit available includes large and small boxes of California navel oranges and ruby red grapefruit, tangelos, clementines, pears, apples, pineapples and mixed boxes.

Gettysburg program planned Sunday in Apollo
Apollo Area Historical Society will host a program, “Discovering Gettysburg: Past and Present,” at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the society, 317 N. Second St., Apollo.
Author W. Stephen Coleman will be the speaker. Admission is $5 and there will be a question and answer session and refreshments afterward.
Volunteers needed to plant trees in Buffalo Township
Volunteers are needed to plant trees from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday along Little Buffalo Creek at the future site of the Buffalo Creek Nature Center, 135 Monroe Road, Buffalo Township.
All supplies will be provided and no experience is necessary. Families and groups are welcome. The planting will help to improve water quality and the habitat at the site.
