Kiski Area HS drama department to present fall play

The drama department at Kiski Area High School will present the comedy “Leading Ladies” by Ken Ludwig at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday in high school auditorium, Allegheny Township.

The show is appropriate for guests who are at least 11 years old. Admission is $10 and $7 for students. For tickets, stop in at the box office starting at 7 p.m. the night of each performance or for advance tickets email jamie.mccluske@kiskiarea.com.

Food drive planned for local food bank

Tarentum Area Lions Club will sponsor a food drive for the Allegheny Valley Association of Churches Food Bank from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Natrona Heights Community Market in Harrison.

Non-perishable items and monetary donations will be accepted.

Wednesday: The Thrift Store Clothing Ministry at Freeport United Methodist Church, 211 Fourth St., will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. All items are free, but donations will be accepted. Items available include clothing of all sizes, bedding and window items. Donations of clothing, shoes and boots welcome; must be laundered and free from smoke and pet hair. Wheelchair accessible.
