Haunted Hustle planned Oct. 31 in Lower Burrell

The Valley Points Family YMCA Haunted Hustle 5K and 2K Spooky Sprint will be from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 31 in Officer Derek Kotecki Park, Wildlife Lodge Road, Lower Burrell.

Costumes are encouraged. The Spooky Sprint for youth will have candy stations along the course.

Free children’s Halloween costumes available at TryLife Center

The TryLife Center, 1155 Wildlife Lodge Road, Lower Burrell, is distributing free children’s Halloween costumes.

Allegheny Valley Association of Churches Food Bank open Wednesday

The Allegheny Valley Association of Churches Food Bank will be open to anyone in need from 1:30 to 5 p.m. Wednesdays at 1913 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, Harrison.
