Fund drive underway for Freeport Food Bank

Dynamic Community Foundation is collecting monetary donations through Oct. 31 to benefit the Freeport Food Bank.

Contributions will be matched by the foundation up to a total of $5,000. Checks with “food bank” in the memo line can be mailed to Dynamic Community Foundation, 237 Fifth St., Freeport PA 16229 or sent via Venmo to @dynamiccommunityfoundation.

Halloween bingo to benefit Leechburg Public Library

A Halloween bingo is planned at 1 p.m. Oct. 25 at West Leechburg Volunteer Firehall, 1116 Gosser St.

Doors open at 10:30 a.m. and lunch will be served at noon. Cost is $35, and includes regular and special games, lunch and entry into 12 cash drawings.

Tickets are available at Cicero’s Bar and Grill, 115 Third St., and at the library, 139 Market St.

Open house, retirement seminars offered at Concordia

Concordia Haven Retirement Living Apartments will host open house events and seminars from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 13 and 14 in the facility’s Haven I dining room, 112 Marwood Road, Jefferson Township.
