Participants wanted for annual Christmas parade

Tarentum Recreation Board is accepting applications from groups and organizations to take part in the annual Tarentum-Brackenridge Christmas Parade that will be at 1 p.m. Nov. 18 in the boroughs.

Line-up will be at noon. Organizations, marching bands, floats, fire companies, antique cars, decorated vehicles, businesses and dance groups are welcome.

Reservations open for Allegheny Valley brunch for seniors

Reservations are being accepted for the Allegheny Valley School District’s annual Senior Citizens brunch planned for 10:30 a.m. Oct. 20 in the Springdale Jr.-Sr. High School cafeteria.
