Free services offered at Veterans Stand Down
A Veterans Stand Down will be Friday at Kittanning Township Volunteer Firehall, 13126 Route 422.
All veterans are welcome from 10 to 10:30 a.m. and general admission for veterans, service members and their families will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Free services available for veterans and members of the armed forces will include healthcare screenings, haircuts, Veterans Administration compensation claim assistance and community resources. The VA Mobile Vet Center will be on hand. Free light refreshments and a small lunch will be served.
