Free vaccine, NARCAN distribution scheduled

The Allegheny County Health Department will distribute free Narcan, flu shots and covid-19 vaccines from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in Natrona Community Park, Harrison.

No registration is required. The event is sponsored by Sen. Lindsey Williams and the Building Block of Natrona.


Lower Burrell Meals on Wheels seeking volunteers

Lower Burrell Meals on Wheels is seeking volunteers to make deliveries in Arnold, New Kensington and Lower Burrell.

Community library updates local history department hours

The Local History department at Community Library of Allegheny Valley has updated its operating hours.

Hours are noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and by appointment Saturdays. The library has copies of Valley News Dispatch microfilm available.
