Food truck event planned Wednesday in Apollo
The Wheel Good Wednesday food truck event sponsored by the Apollo Events Committee and Apollo Area Historical Society will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the old Stanford lot on Clifford Avenue.
This week’s truck lineup will include Big Black Grill, Ash & Kris Kitchen, Wine O’Clock Slushies, Tommy’s Catering, Fox’s Mobile Den, Sweets for the Streets and McFeely’s Arctic Ice.

Knead Community Café welcomes donations and sponsorships
Knead Community Café in New Kensington offers free grab-and-go meals on Thursdays to members of the community, regardless of ability to pay.
About 230 meals are served weekly at a cost of $2.50 per meal. Full meal sponsorships are available at $450 per week. Smaller donations are always welcome.
Any business, organization, church or individual interested in supporting the mission of the café should contact Marcie at 878-302-3270.
Free meals and face masks available at Highlands Family Center
Highlands Family Center, Tarentum, will distribute free precooked meals from Eat N Park and fabric facemasks from Hanes by appointment from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the center, 415 E. Fourth Ave.

Allegheny Valley Association of Churches Food Bank open Wednesday
The Allegheny Valley Association of Churches Food Bank will be open to anyone in need from 1:30 to 5 p.m. Wednesdays at 1913 Freeport Road, Natrona Heights, Harrison.
