A-K Valley Historical Society to host antique appraisal fair

The Allegheny-Kiski Valley Historical Society will sponsor an antique appraisal fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 4 at the Heritage Museum, 224 E. Seventh Ave., Tarentum.

Those attending can bring up to three items to be appraised. Cost is $5 per item, with proceeds benefiting the museum.

Monthly Fridays on Fifth event set in New Kensington

The New Kensington Fridays on Fifth gathering will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday in downtown, rain or shine.
