Coffee with a Cop returns to Lower Burrell
The Lower Burrell Police Department will host its annual Coffee With a Cop gathering from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the city hall council chambers room, 2800 Bethel St., upper level.

NK Salvation Army offering holiday support
The New Kensington Salvation Army will accept applications in-person by appointment for assistance for holiday gifts for children 13 and younger and Project Bundle Up coats, boots, hats and gloves for children younger than 18 and seniors 62 and over at the center, 255 Third St.
Appointments are available Sept. 30 to Oct. 3 and Oct. 14 to 17. Applications will be accepted on a first-come and most-need basis. Bring identification, proof of household income and residence, children’s birth certificates and three gift ideas for each child.
