Car cruise planned Saturday by Kiski Township firemen
Kiski Township Volunteer Fire Company will host a car cruise from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at the firehall, 1037 Route 56.
Dash plaques will be awarded to the first 100 vehicles and trophies will be awarded. Entry fee is $10.
There will be food, a silent auction and door prizes. CDC guidelines will be observed. For details, call Dan at 724-339-3495.
‘Aladdin’ to be screened at Hartwood Acres
The free Allegheny County Family Drive-in Movie Saturday in the Hartwood Acres Amphitheater will be, “Aladdin,” rated PG.
Gates open at 7 p.m. and the movie starts at dusk. There is a 300-vehicle limit, first-come, first served. Refreshments will be available. The event is sponsored by the Allegheny Regional Asset District.
Free car seat safety checks offered in Plum
Plum EMS and police will offer free car seat safety checks from 3 to 6 p.m. Sept. 10 by appointment at the ambulance station, 1990 Old Mine Road.
Certified car seat technicians, including officials from PA Team Educators for Child Safety, will check the equipment and teach families how to properly install the seats.
