Tractor Supply Co. expects fall opening for Lower Burrell store
A new Tractor Supply Co. store could open in Lower Burrell as early as this fall.
Tractor Supply spokeswoman Tricia Glenn said construction on the store, located at 108 Greensburg Road (Route 366), started in April.
The store, located in the Kinloch section of the city, will be near a Family Dollar store and a McDonald’s.
“If construction remains on schedule, the store could open as early as fall 2025,” Glenn said.
Tractor Supply officials said last year they anticipate the store opening in November.
“The city is certainly excited that their opening is fast approaching,” said Lower Burrell Mayor Chris Fabry. “Tractor Supply will satisfy a need for the area and bring additional eyes on our city.
“New businesses always lead to more new businesses, so we’re hopeful that we will see additional growth in that part of the city.”
Built on a previously vacant and wooded lot, the Tractor Supply location will be 21,930 square feet, including a 15,415-square-foot sales floor, said Mark Marmo, code enforcement and zoning officer for Lower Burrell.
Tractor Supply is a national chain that sells products including clothing, equine and pet supplies, tractor or trailer parts and accessories, lawn and garden supplies, power tools, fencing and mowers.
Nearby Tractor Supply stores include locations in Harrison, Murrysville, Richland and near Kittanning.
