Traffic stoppages on the Butler-Logan Road bridge in Frazer are expected to take place this weekend as part of a repair project, weather permitting.

Currently, single-lane alternating traffic is being controlled by temporary signals on the bridge over Route 28.

PennDOT officials said traffic stoppages of 15 minutes or less will occur as needed starting 10 p.m. Friday night until 6 a.m. Saturday morning.

Crews from Swank Construction Company LLC will be pouring the concrete deck.

Flaggers will assist motorists through the work zone.

The work is part of a larger project, which includes bridge deck replacement, painting the entire structure, replacing bearings, improving drainage, and upgrading guardrails.

Motorists are advised to use caution, slow down, and be prepared for changing traffic patterns when traveling through the area.
