A Tarentum man is wanted by state police in connection with the Sept. 17 shooting death of a Fayette County man outside his home.

Trooper Richard Sizer said police are seeking the whereabouts of Omari Parker Jr., 18, who is wanted in connection with the slaying of Tywain James Reid, 29. Reid was discovered lying at the intersection of Center and Walnut streets in Vanderbilt, Fayette County. Police allege the shooting occurred during a botched robbery attempt.

Police already arrested four people in connection with the homicide, including Djamar “Bloody” Rodgers, 26, of McKeesport, who was identified at a January hearing as one of the shooters.

Sizer reported information received by troopers indicates “Parker was the second shooter.”

Police also charged Peaches Logan, 41, and Roy Aller, 20, both of Dawson, and Sjon-Luc Bochak, 25, of Dunbar in connection with Reid’s death.

Sizer said police found Reid, who formerly lived in North Braddock, dead of multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sizer said Parker is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-439-7111. Callers can remain anonymous, police said.
