One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Plum Tuesday evening.

Police at the scene said the crash involved a car and a tractor-trailer. The truck driver was not injured but one person in the car was.

Westmoreland County dispatchers said calls for the crash along Greensburg Road near Drennen Road came in around 8:25 p.m. Greensburg Road is closed to traffic from Millers Lane to roughly Swank Lane near the crash site. The call originally came into Westmoreland County because the crash site is near the Upper Burrell border.

At 9:45 p.m., officials said Greensburg Road could be reopened to traffic within 15 minutes but traffic was backed up in both directions and drivers were advised to avoid the area if possible.

No further information was immediately available.
