Sean Dugan, 58, of Springdale Borough was reported missing Monday

A search party is being formed to help locate a Springdale man who has been missing since Monday.

Volunteers are wanted at 10 a.m. Sunday at Pittsburgh Syria Shrine Center at 1877 Shriners Way in Harmar.

The goal is to locate Sean Dugan, who was reported missing by Springdale police Monday.

Dugan is described as a white man, 58, with short hair and a goatee.

On Monday evening, Harmar police saw Dugan’s Acura sedan along Gulf Lab Road at the Bessemer Railroad entrance, according to township Police Chief Jason Domaratz.

Search efforts continued for several days, including Friday when officers used a drone to look for Dugar, Domaratz said.

Springdale police Chief Derek Dayoub confirmed earlier this week the investigation is still active and ongoing.

Those with information about Dugan’s whereabouts should contact Springdale police at 724-274-9022.

More than 100 people have responded to a Facebook post about Sunday’s search. Half of them said they plan to participate.

Organizers said online that volunteers should “dress for the weather and wear shoes/clothing that can be worn into the woods.”

Exact search locations are being finalized, according to the post.
