A $1.4 million winning Cash 5 ticket was sold at the New Kensington Get Go along Tarentum Bridge Road.

The good news: Someone who played the Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 at a New Kensington gas station matched all five balls drawn Monday.

The bad news: Someone else did too.

Two winners will split a $1.4 million jackpot after two tickets matched all five balls — 3-10-18-34-39. Each winner will get $700,000, according to an announcement from the Pennsylvania Lottery.

The winning tickets were sold about 250 miles apart at the GetGo station on Tarentum Bridge Road in New Kensington and at a Sheetz store in Ephrata, Lancaster County. The winners must have their tickets validated to claim their prize.

The retailers each will get a $5,000 bonus.

The chances of winning the Cash 5 jackpot are 1 in 962,598, according to the announcement. Players can win prizes for matching two, three or four winning numbers. All five numbers drawn must match a player’s ticket to win the jackpot.
