A woman was hurt in a crash involving a small car and pickup late Thursday morning in Brackenridge.

The collision on Freeport Road at Morgan Street was reported shortly after 11:30 a.m., an Allegheny County 911 dispatcher said.

Brackenridge police said the woman had been driving a car along Freeport Road, heading toward Harrison. The car collided with an oncoming pickup that was attempting to turn left onto Morgan Street.

The woman was taken by ambulance to Harrison’s Allegheny Valley Hospital. The man driving the pickup was not hurt, police said.

Both vehicles were towed away and the scene was cleared around noon.

Brackenridge police said the crash was under investigation.
