President Joe Biden is saying the outlook for the country’s economy is looking brighter thanks to the recently passed $1.9 trillion pandemic relief package, the American Rescue Plan.
Critics say the plan is a waste of money and many citizens don’t know exactly where the money is going.
The president is scheduled to be in Pittsburgh Wednesday selling the benefits of the plan.
U.S. Rep. Conor Lamb, D-Mt. Lebanon, has been speaking to people in his district about what’s in the American Rescue Plan. In a video interview with the Tribune-Review, Lamb discussed the relief plan and also answered questions about threats and security at the U.S. Capitol since the Jan. 6 insurrection.
