State police, EMS and PennDOT workers responded to a rollover crash in the southbound lanes of the Route 66 Bypass on Wednesday just south of Delmont.

One person was transported by ambulance following a rollover crash near the northern end of the Route 66 Bypass in Salem on Wednesday morning.

Westmoreland County 911 officials said the crash, involving a car and tractor trailer in the southbound lanes, was reported around 8:45 a.m. The car was heavily damaged and flipped onto its roof, and its passenger was ejected from the vehicle.

Southbound traffic was down to one lane as of 9:30 a.m., 911 officials said.
