One person is dead and at least one other is hurt after a crash Saturday in St. Clair Township, according to a Westmoreland County 911 dispatcher.

The crash in the area of Route 711 and Robb Road, east of New Florence, was reported around 4:15 p.m.

No information was immediately available about the person killed or the others involved.

The number of vehicles involved and the circumstances of the crash were also not immediately available. At least one vehicle involved had overturned, the dispatcher said.

Authorities were still at the scene as of about 6 p.m. awaiting the coroner’s arrival.

The Greensburg state police are investigating.
