Two people died after a crash Saturday in St. Clair Township, authorities said.

The crash in the area of Route 711 and Robb Road, east of New Florence, was reported around 4:15 p.m.

State police said Ronald R. Drylie, 73, of Bolivar was driving a GMC Sierra north on Route 711 when it crossed over the center line and hit an oncoming Hyundai Santa Fe being driven by Joel I. Hunt, 68, of Bolivar.

Drylie died at the scene from blunt force injuries, according to the Westmoreland County Coroner. His death was ruled an accident.

Hunt was taken by ambulance to Conemaugh Hospital where he died, police said.

A 16-year-old boy who was a passenger in Drylie’s pickup was taken to a hospital for treatment, troopers said.
