10 new coronavirus cases reported in Westmoreland County as total tops 150

Westmoreland County reported 10 new cases of coronavirus, bringing the county total to 157, state health officials said Monday.

Statewide, the death toll stands at 162, and the 1,470 new cases reported between 12 a.m. Sunday and 12 a.m. Monday brings the statewide total to 12,980.

The 10 new cases represent a 6% increase of the previous day’s case county, and cases statewide increased by about 13%.

Allegheny County reported 37 new cases Monday, bringing its total to 642.

Indiana County reported 17 total cases, an increase of four, and Washington County reported three new cases for a total of 53.

Greene County remains at 12 cases, and Fayette County added two new cases, bringing that county’s total to 29.
