19 new covid-19 cases reported in Westmoreland County

There were 19 new coronavirus cases reported in Westmoreland County on Tuesday, the Pennsylvania Department of Health reported.

The new reported covid-19 cases follow a recent trend for the county, where cases have ranged from 18 to 21 reported per day over the last four days.

No new deaths were reported Tuesday, and the total number of deaths remained at 40.

In total, there have been 1,193 covid-19 cases reported in Westmoreland County. Of those, 1,158 are confirmed and 35 probable.

Westmoreland County has tested 26,345 individuals, with a total of 25,152 coming back negative. The county’s positivity rate remains about 4.5% in coronavirus testing.
