Two Allegheny County men are accused of drug possession after, Greensburg police say, one of them had five bricks of heroin at Autumn Brook Apartments last week.

Denzell Lavelle Snead, 22, of Elizabeth Township, and Isaiah Johnson, 22, of Swissvale are charged with possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communication facility and other offenses. Neither had an attorney listed in online court records.

City police say they were following up on tips from a concerned citizen and a confidential informant about suspected drug activity at the Luzerne Street apartments on May 13. Officers spotted a Chevrolet sedan circle the area at 3:45 p.m. and stop near the main office, according to court papers.

Snead, the driver, and Johnson were being arrested for possession of a small amount of marijuana when officers said they found more drugs. They seized $300, marijuana and suspected Xanax from Snead, according to court papers.

Johnson had five bricks of heroin and $100, police said. Both suspects were released and their money returned after they were cooperative during interviews at the police station, according to court papers.
