The annual Holiday Mart is Friday and Saturday at The Westmoreland Museum of American Art in Greensburg.

Regional artisans will offer an array of gift-giving options at the annual Holiday Mart, set for Friday and Saturday at The Westmoreland Museum of American Art.

The event will feature returning makers and those new to the event, said Dwi Bartlebaugh, the museum shop manager.

Merchandise will be set up in the museum lobby and community room, “and if the weather is nice, we’ll have some outside,” she added. “There will be something for everyone’s taste, something affordable, unique and artsy.”

Items will include jewelry, woodworking, ceramics, glass, quilts, weaving, fine art, ornaments, cards, edibles and more. The museum shop also will be open, offering wares from artists around the country.

Shop merchandise includes a large number of items, including ornaments, prints, glass art trays and notecards, related to The Westmoreland’s current featured exhibition, “Simple Pleasures: The Art of Doris Lee.”

Grab-and-go snacks and festive beverages will be available from Cafe Marchand inside the shop, with outdoor seating on the museum terrace, weather permitting.

Entertainment also is planned, with musician Jessica Bella performing 4:30-6:30 p.m. both days and the Westmoreland Youth Ballet performing at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

Holiday Mart shoppers will have the opportunity to enter a contest for two tickets to the Dec. 4 concert by Italian opera tenor Andrea Bocelli at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh.

The winner will be chosen and announced during the museum’s Winter Lights Illumination Night on Nov. 27. Winner does not have to be present that night. Winter Lights attendees also will be able to enter the contest.
