Two residents of Greensburg were killed in a motorcycle crash Tuesday night on Route 819, according to information released by the Westmoreland County coroner.

Timothy P. Kuhns, 50, was driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle north on Route 819 in Mt. Pleasant Township just before 8 p.m. when he lost control around a bend in the road. State Trooper Tristan Tappe said the motorcycle crashed into a home just south of Armbrust.

Kuhns and his passenger Jennifer L. Ramsey, 44, separated from the motorcycle and died at the scene, according to information from the coroner’s office. There were no reported injuries to the home’s occupants, who heard the noise and rushed outside to find the crash, Tappe said.

There was minimal damage to the property.

Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash, according to the coroner.
