Two people were flown by medical helicopter following a multi-car crash in Salem, according to Westmoreland emergency officials.

Fire and paramedics were called to the intersection of Route 819 and Bowman Road just after 3 p.m. for a two-vehicle crash, according to a Westmoreland 911 supervisor.
